Q: Can a ball valve be partially open?

A: A ball valve is not recommended for throttling as it can cause uneven wear, vibration, and noise. Use characterized ball valves for throttling.

Q: Where is a ball valve used?

A: Ball valves are used in pipelines for on/off control in industries, residential plumbing, and irrigation systems due to their quick operation and tight sealing.

Q: Can a ball valve control flow?

A: While a ball valve can control flow, it is not ideal for precise flow regulation. It is best suited for applications requiring full open or closed positions.

Q: What pressure ratings can your ball valves handle?

A: Standard ball valves cover PN16–PN63 and Class 150–600. Higher ratings can be produced upon request.

Q: Can your ball valves be used for high-temperature or high-corrosion media?

A: Yes, with proper material selection. For high temperature, PEEK or metal seats are recommended. For corrosion, SS316 or duplex steel provides better resistance.

Q: Can you match our country's thread or flange standard?

A: Yes. We supply NPT/BSP thread, ANSI/DIN/JIS flanges, and also weld-end designs. We match exact standards based on your market.

Q: What testing do you perform before shipment?

A: Every valve is 100% pressure-tested according to API 598 or EN 12266-1. Test reports and inspection photos can be provided.
